Puck

The jester of fairy-court, plucking the lunar blooming flowers. 
 
The Puck hat is made with soft wool felt in lilac, lightly stiffened and flexible. The shape is base on the traditional Welsh style, with a short brim. Trimmed in petersham and glass beads. The fullness of the flowers are achieved with layers of bamboo silk in deep purple and moss green. 
 
The Puck hat is created using traditional hand-blocking and flower-making techniques. All my hats are lined with bamboo silk. This choice is not only ethical and sustainable, but also the finest for comfort. Bamboo silk is the softest and kindest fabric to sit against your hair and skin. It is anti-static and naturally antibacterial. 
 
This piece will be handcrafted in my London studio using the finest locally-sourced materials. 
It is made-to-order so will take around 2-3 weeks to finish. Other colours, alterations and fabric preferences can be fulfilled upon request.
